Alexander T. LeeAlexander T. Lee was born in Philadelphia and currently resides in Hatfield, Pennsylvania, with his wife and son. He graduated from the University of Arts in 2002 with a Bachelors in Fine Arts in Illustration. After graduation, he enlisted in the US Navy and served four years on the submarine, USS Jacksonville, as a computer technician. As he has been honorably discharged from the US Navy, he began to pursue his lifelong dream of illustrating children’s books. He works as a freelance illustrator.

Darren McKeeDarren McKee is a Texas based illustrator who got his stat illustrating for Barney and Friends
which was on PBS in the 1990's and 2000's working on books and products for the show. Since 2001 he has worked steadily freelancing with many publishers. When not working he spends time traveling with his wife Debbie as well as drawing, reading and riding his bike around Dallas. |
Jason GageTo Jason Gage, life is an art form. Incorporating his love of nature, travel and artistic expression, Jason strives as an elementary art educator to help young minds use imagination to discover inner potential and make real world connections through the creative process. Jason earned a B.A. in Art Education from Colorado State University and a M.A. in Linguistically Diverse Education from the University of Colorado. Jason lives in Colorado with his wife and two lovely girls.

Mike MaderMike Mader was born and raised in Northeast Iowa. Always drawing, Mike took that artistic desire to Pittsburgh, PA to study art and animation. Eventually he left the East Coast wanting to move back the the Midwest. He now lives in Kansas City, MO with his wife. Working from home, his day job keeps him busy as a Technical Illustrator, but he makes time for freelance projects too. This work challenges Mike by allowing him to take work ranging from graphic design to cartoon illustration.

Kirsi Tuomanen HillKirsi Tuomanen Hill is a New York-based art teacher and freelance artist. She enjoys working on a range of visual projects at once, both to inform her teaching and to keep herself experimenting. Kirsi has a special love for illustration and repeatedly returns to it as a primary interest. She holds a BA in Art History from Johns Hopkins University, a Post-Bac in Studio Art from MICA, and an MA in Art Education from Teachers College, Columbia University.
